123Mind Documentation

123Mind is the Wiqis mind-mapping app. These guides cover everything from building your first map to publishing one for other people to use.

Pick a topic from the sidebar to get started.

Start here

  • New to the app? Read Creating a mind map— there are five different ways to start, from a blank map to pasting an outline you already have.
  • Coming from another mind-mapping tool? Import from other apps covers Markdown, OPML, FreeMind and XMind.
  • Want to change how a map looks? Styling and connections covers text, colours, node backgrounds and the lines between nodes.

What 123Mind can do

  • Build maps from a blank page, a quick typed outline, pasted text, a template, or a file from another app.
  • Add text, notes, links, markers, labels and relationships to any node.
  • Style text and node backgrounds, and choose how connections are drawn.
  • Draw freehand on top of a map with layers, brushes and text.
  • Edit the whole map as an indented outline.
  • Export to PNG, PDF, SVG, Markdown, OPML, FreeMind, or a portable 123Mind file.
  • Publish maps and themes to the community, and clone other people's.

Maps are not synced yet. 123Mind has a Wiqis account for community features, but your library itself is stored on your device. Use Backup library and Restore backup to move a library between devices by hand.
