Starting a drawing

  1. Tap the add button in the bottom right of the gallery.
  2. A Setup screen opens. Choose a canvas below, then tap Done.

Infinite canvas

The Infinite Canvas switch is on by default. The canvas has no edges, so you can keep drawing past the side of the screen and pan out to wherever you need. Zoom and pan stay available.

This is the right choice for sketches, notes and anything you are still working out.

A fixed document

Turn Infinite Canvas off to work inside a set of dimensions. Pick a Size Preset or type your own Width and Height in pixels.

A fixed canvas turns zoom and pan off. It also gives you a white background instead of the app's. You can change either afterwards in Canvas, grid and zoom.

Size presets

Among the presets are:

  • Screen Size, Phone Wallpaper and Desktop Wallpaper
  • Instagram Post, Facebook Post, Twitter Post, LinkedIn Post, Pinterest Pin, Snapchat Story and TikTok Video
  • YouTube Thumbnail, Vimeo Thumbnail and YouTube Channel Art
  • Blog Header, Article Header and CD Cover
  • Business Card, Postcard and Flyer
  • PowerPoint Slide and Google Slides
  • Etsy Shop Icon and Etsy Listing Image

Changing the size of an existing drawing keeps your content in place by re-offsetting it, so growing a canvas mid-project does not scatter your work.

Getting out

The back arrow saves and leaves. If you would rather not keep what you have drawn, the bin icon on the Setup screen discards it.
